SPONSORED PARACHUTE JUMP
APRIL 7th 2009 (Hinton, NORTHAMPTON)
The intrepid and daring founder of the Rushden Persian Rescue our very own 'BIGGLES' ... aka 'Wing Commander' Patsy Smith (more like 'Bingo Wing' Commander) :-)) is going to be
doing a tandem parachute jump to raise money for the Rescues Funds
Patsy will be jumping alongside fellow 'madwoman' 'Bombadier' Annette Marriott who is jumping for Animals in Need.
They will plummetting (sorry Leaping) out of the aircraft, strapped to experienced 'jumpers'
(brave lads !) on April 7th 2009
Patsy has seen the doctor and has got to lose a stone in weight and is also going to give up smoking,
Patsys Doctor on hearing of
Patsys plans said ................. 'Well I hope your tandem partners built like a tank and got hands like shovels ' !! :-)
Patsys vet has demanded she pay her bill before making the jump !!.....
and after Patsy removed the thumbscrews he has now agreed to sponsor her :-)
The "Drop Zone" is located at Hinton Airfield which is on the Northamptonshire / Oxfordshire border
In the meantime if you live in the Oxfordshire/Northampton you are hereby given notifcation that the decibel level may be at 'dangerously high levels' when
B.W.C (Bingo Wing commander) Patsy makes the 'jump' and we strongly recommend you keep all pets and livestock safely indoors until after she lands !!
If you would like to sponsor Patsy please call Rushden Persian Rescue

We attended the annual ANIMALS IN NEED 'Open Day' 31st August 08 . The weather wasn't kind to us and it rained, but that did not deter the visitors, who braved the weather and gave the
event their support.
It was a pleasure to be there, and we thank Roy & Annette for inviting us again, and we look forward to next year.

We are DELIGHTED to announce that as of June 2008, Rushden Persian Rescue has been granted Charitable Status by The Charity Commission and is now a registered Charity (Reg.No. 1124730)
This will be a great help to us. As a registered Charity we are now eligible for discounts on
things like veterinary bills, microchips, food etc which will help towards all our running costs and enable us to
keep helping Felines in need .
