Persians require regular grooming to keep their coats/skin healthy .

In addition I STRONGLY recommend bathing them every 3-4 weeks which helps keep their coats grease free and clean ........ And a clean coat is easier to comb so it benefits both you and the cat to do this

All my kittens/cats are used to regular bathing, and I can not emphasise enough how important it is to be continued !!

If you have never owned/bathed a persian before, instruction will be given, but if started as babies, Persians tolerate it very well and it keeps the day to day grooming to an absolute minimum and all my kittens usually have had at least 3 or 4 baths before they leave me for their new homes, so are used to bathing/hairdryer !!

Although Persians are more 'high maintainance' than some of their short haired 'cousins' ... their temperaments are outstanding and MORE than makes up for the extra work !

Early neutering prevents cats picking up feline sexually
transmitted diseases (e.g Feline Leukaemia &
Feline Aids which can be fatal!)

It helps stop cats 'wandering off looking
for a mate' and the risk of getting lost,
stolen or hurt in a road traffic accident.

Early neutering will also save males from injury through
fighting for females or to establish their 'territory'.

It prevents unwanted pregnancies,
mastitis and womb infections. It also helps prevent them
developing mammary and testicular cancer.
